The Reasons, Cambodian Consume Much Alcohol

When we talk about alcohol in Cambodia, we will firstly think to their favorite and habit. Every age of old of people still have known all kinds and brand names of alcohol companies. Actually, those companies are trafficking around the country. For Cambodian people, they like to use the alcohol for every event. According to this and as we can see trafficking alcohol in the society, for my idea, there three reasons that cause Cambodian consume much alcohol. Such as because of alcohol commercial, lack of law and culture in this country.

The first reason that cause Cambodian consume much alcohol is because of alcohol commercial in this country. Many alcohol companies come to invest in Cambodia. Those companies also are let to use free public media for announcing their products to the public, also. For instance, they make television and radio programs that persuade the clients and consumers to take interest on them. Moreover, the big posters that announce the alcohol are stood by them every place. Especially, they stand by them on the streets, in front of restaurant, club, bare etc. Other strategies that those companies use to persuade the customer are they promote in magazine newspaper. Beside these, they also use sexy girl and boys to promote their products. What can persuade the most consumer consume much is lucky draw. They try to courage people to use alcohol then will get lucky draw.

The other reason that make them drink much alcohol is because lake of law. As we can see the real situation in now day, every law that were made by lawmaker are not strong enough to control the trafficking alcohol market. Similarly, there have many difficulties to control because some executive director of alcohol companies work in high position in government. Sometimes he or she doesn't let the specialist to check the factory. This is a big problem in the country. In addition, according to the Phnom Penh Post rested that some policemen were drunk in duty. And sometimes they used the same tools and double times to scan the alcohol average on the drunk driver on the way.

The last reason that cause them use much alcohol is because of their culture in this country. The concept of drinking alcohol has stayed  in Cambodian's culture for long time ago. Truly, they have thought that alcohol can make high reputation, happiness and friendly. For example, we can see Cambodian people always have used the alcohol in festival, ceremony, wedding party, friendly party and meeting. In wedding, they think that it can make high reputation. For meeting, they think it can make them seemed high-class style for themselves. And for relationship, they think it can make more friends and keep their friendly for log time.

All in all, alcohol is very popular in Cambodia for every event. And every people have known many kind and brand name of those companies as well. As I have described above all, the three basic reasons, alcohol commercial, lack of law to control alcohol trafficking and their culture, that cause Cambodian consume much alcohol. For my idea, I think that consuming much alcohol is not good. It doesn't not only give the negative effects on our health, but it also increases more traffic accident and domestic violence in the society
